North Luangwa National Park

North Luangwa National Park does not offer unfettered public access. Walking tours are offer only by a handful of safari operators and there are no permanent lodges in the park. With very few roads, it is likely your will encounter no other human interaction while in the park - this is North Luangwa's draw.

Both North Luangwa and South Luangwa lie between the western bank of the Luangwa River and the striking Muchinga escarpment, and share much of the same ecosystems.
